Gary Johnson may have had a brain freeze on Aleppo, but he is by the far the most clear headed of all the candidates on immigration, notes Reason Foundation Senior Analyst Shikha Dalmia. He is offering what neither Trump nor Clinton is, namely, an immigration fix that is humane, fair and workable. It will solve the illegal border traffic and enchance border security without walls or “deportation” task force or terrorizing Latino families.

But the most important thing is that it’ll say true to America’s limited government commitment. So it’ll be a shame if his little Aleppo gaffe derails his candidacy.
