A pillow fight

For seven magical years, my three brothers, sister and me lived at 110 Flamingo Street. During that time whenever Dad walked in after work, he was always greeted with two things.
The first was a kiss from Mom. (Later he told me it helped to prepare him for what usually came next.) The second was a list of issues that needed his attention right away.
Those issues, more often than not, had to deal with one of us kids. On a good night it would be an issue with only one of us – and on a bad night it was an issue that involved all of us. Such was the night of the great pillow fight.

PTC Council talks annexing, communicating

With the exception of two large tracts on the northwest quadrant of Peachtree City above MacDuff Parkway, the city is nearly built out from a residential development standpoint.

Which is not to say the city is done growing, as there will likely be opportunities for annexation in the future. The big question is: what potential is out there and will such areas be a good idea to add to the city’s corporate limits?

If the study shows the project is feasible, DOT would pay for the entire right of way and construction costs, with the county only on the hook for ongoing landscaping maintenance and lighting costs. The latter is estimated to be about $1,840 a year, according to county officials.
