The Starr’s Mill Lady Panthers soccer team escaped Sharpsburg Friday night with a 3-2 overtime win over East Coweta.
The only goal of the first half came in the 14th minute when Rachel Catlett sent a corner kick into the box for Jenna Currin to finish.
East Coweta took the lead with 14 minutes left in the second half, but Molly Moroney tied the score two minutes later.
The Lady Panthers got the win on a long throw by Lauren Yoss that bounced around in the box before Currin
forced it home.
The team improved its record to 4-1-0 on the season and will travel Tuesday to Westminster.
