Misty L. Goss, 39, of Sharpsburg, passed away Feb. 15, 2014 at 9:51 p.m.
She leaves behind her husband, Norman C. Goss III; children, Jaydon Blake Goss, Jake Goss and Andeigh Goss; her mother, Cheryl and Chris Childers; her father, Richard and Tearra Southern and her brother Richie and Heather Southern; nephew, Hunter Southern and niece Aubree Southern; her in-laws, Norman C. and Sharon R. Goss Jr.; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Archie H. Shadle, 71, of Peachtree City, passed away February 15, 2014.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy and later worked for Delta Airlines. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Shadle and sister Janice Rothermel.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Shadle; children Brian (Laurie) Shadle, David (Lisa) Shadle and Mary Jo Leedy; daughter-in-law Jennifer Shadle; 12 grandchildren; brother David Shadle and several nieces and nephews.

Pascal Quentin Jones, 59, of Fayetteville, passed away February 15, 2014.
He worked for over 20 years at the Atlanta Journal & Constitution. He was an active member at McDonough Road Baptist Church. After his retirement he enjoyed volunteering at the Wellspring Thrift Store in Peachtree City.
He was preceded in death by his parents J.Q ‚”Pete” Jones & Wilna Northcutt.
He is survived by his daughters Lana Jones of Atlanta and Lauren Jones of Peachtree City; also an extended family including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, & cousins.

Hugh Clifford “Chuck” Wilson of Fayetteville passed away February 14, 2014.
He was born October 7, 1927 in McDonough, Ga. to the late David & Pearl Wilson. He proudly served in the US Army. He was a sales manager for Sears Roebuck for over 40 years, and later worked for 20 years at Clayton Appliance as a salesman.

Since he was a young boy growing up in Moultrie, Ga., Sidney Johnston Cook III wanted to fly.
His dream came true when he graduated from the Aviation Cadets Training Program in June, 1955. He got his wings, his commission and a new bride all in one week.
He served three years in the United States Air Force before settling down with his wife, Melba Schwall, in metro Atlanta to begin a career as a commercial airline pilot with Southern Airways. Over his thirty-year airline career, Sid flew the DC-3, Martin 404, DC-9 and Boeing 757.

Robert Matthew Nolan arrived in this world on March 7, 1934 and departed peacefully on February 13, 2014.
Bob lived his life as a beloved son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
Bob was born in Milford, Conn. and as a young man joined the Marines and saw some of the world during the Korean War. He returned to Milford and started to raise his family. An opportunity for work moved the family from Milford to Whittier, Calif. in 1978. And, yes, Bob built the kids the pool they were promised!

Funeral services was held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home – Fairview Chapel at 12 p.m. Interment followed at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.

Mr. Thomas Herbert (Tom) Roberts, Jr. of Fayetteville passed away February 11, 2014.
He was retired from the Fulton County Board of Education where he served as a teacher and a principal for several schools.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marie Brown Roberts of Fayetteville; daughter, Melanie Roberts McBride and her husband Jim of Fayetteville; sisters, Mary Louise Roberts of Citrus Springs, Fla.; Elizabeth Anne Shelton of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Robert, Molly, Joseph, Megan and Maggie McBride.

Edythe Hettema Strayer, age 96, passed away on Feb. 2, 2014, in Fayetteville, Ga.
Born to Cornelius and Addie Hettema in Midland Park, N.J., she resided in N.J. and Kan. prior to moving to Atlanta in 1951.
Surviving is daughter Donna G. Johnson (Gil), two sons Todd B. Strayer (Cheryl) and Phillip N. Strayer (Barbara), six grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Her oldest daughter, Penny Ann Strayer Vincent, preceded Edythe in death in 1984.
Edythe, lovingly known as “DeeDee,” spent most of her career as an executive secretary, and retired form IJ Kaplan & Associates.
