US Oil Rig Count Rises Most In Q3 Since 2009

Q3 ends with a 29% rise in US oil rigs – this is the biggest rise since Q4 2009.

Oil rigs have risen 14 weeks in a row (up 7 this week to 425, the highest since Feb 2016).
