Republicans have not been this comfortable since January 2008, having soared since the election. Democrats, on the other hand, are the most uncomfortable since Dec 2015.
In fact the level of partisan disagreement is the highest since February 2009 and shows no signs of turning around.
Since the election the Republican-Democrat divide has swung from over 14pts in favor of Dems to almost 14pts in favor of Reps – the fastest swing in sentiment in the survey’s history.
