Just like Lyft shares did immediately after their debut earlier this month, shares of Zoom and Pinterest soared immediately after they started trading on Thursday, with Zoom shares surging roughly 75% to $65 a share (from an opening price of $36) and Pinterest shares climbing about 20% to $23.35 from $19.
However, prices are already fading from their opening pop.
In what some might see as an ominous omen, the trading pattern in the opening minutes is already beginning to resemble Lyft, which soared to a high of $83 a share immediately after the open, before it started to fade.
