to End Poverty, by Nina Munk. Jeffrey Sachs’ formula for
ending poverty was appealingly simple, but as Munk chronicles, it
didn’t play out nearly the way he expected. Easterly believes
that the book provides much insight into the future of the aid and
development debate.
