American citizens.
Binney, a former intelligence official, left the NSA in
2001 after more than 30 years with the agency. Since resigning,
the cryptographer has dedicated the last 13 years
to revealing what
he claims are egregrious violations of the constition and wasteful
government spending within the NSA.
