Because libertarians are
notoriously silent when it comes to criminal justice issues,
The
Independents (Fox Business Network, 9 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. PT,
with re-airs three hours later) will for the third consecutive
night talk about the ongoing fiasco in Ferguson, Missouri, this
time with the libertarian Washington Post writer Radley Balko, whose
groundbreaking work on criminal justice has not only inspired an
entire generation of libertarians, but who also won a “Journalist
of the Year” award in 2011 for work he did on the
topic here at Reason. We’ll do our best to catch up.
Party Panelists Guy
Benson (Townhall political editor) and Richard Fowler
(“Progressive Messaging Expert and all around good guy”) will talk
about
the Pope’s endorsement of U.S. airstrikes in Iraq, President
Barack Obama’s
flexible relationship with the War Powers Act, a mom being
kicked out of a pizzeria for changing her baby’s diaper, and
our new
robot-butler overlords. Then comes the latest installment of
“Enemies of Freedom.” Previously:
Rachael Garner, mother of a toddler who she says
had her life saved by cannabis, will describe her experiences
with the medical establishment. And then Kennedy will respond to
critics of her appearance earlier this week alongside Fox
psychiatric analyst Keith Ablow, who drew derisive snorts among the
lady co-hosts of Outnumbered by saying that Michelle Obama
“needs
to drop a few” pounds.
