didn’t make people less pissed off at official brutality. Maybe
try something else?

improvement on the status quo in Ferguson. Maybe.

Ukraine troops appear to be retaking Luhansk
from rebel forces block by bloody block. The survivig residents
will, no doubt, shower the victors with their thanks.
The looting of a health center housing Ebola patients has,
aparently,
not improved control over an outbreak of that disease in west
Africa. About 42.5 percent of all deaths attributed to the disease,
ever, have occurred since March.
