The last time Tesla announced that it had suffered a fire due to sabotage, Fremont Police Department were quick to point out that they “did not receive or respond”…
We did not receive or respond to any calls for service at the Tesla factory this past weekend.

This time is the Fremont Fire Department that confirmed a “structure fire” at Tesla’s Fremont Campus:
FFD responded to fire at Tesla. A cardboard bailing machine was in operation, it overheated and caught on fire. We extinguished the fire, contained it to machine & secured power. There was damage to the machine and the exterior tent it was located in. There were no injuries. pic.twitter.com/RrKPchV2ND

Will ‘damage’ to the tent be enough of an excuse for missing his Model 3 production goals this quarter?
With Musk battling metaphorical fires at SolarCity and under his big Tesla vehicle tent, the fact that real fires keep breaking out – in his vehicles and at his factory – seems to have spooked the stock even more…
It appears Mr Musk will have to engineer another short squeeze… stat!
