Following the highly anticipated public release of the (10% redacted) Mueller report, donations to President Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign spiked by over $1 million, according to Trump campaign COO Michael Glassner.
“The release of the full Mueller report directly led to the campaign raising more than $1 million,” Glassner told the New York Post, adding “Relative to our recent daily average, the Mueller news drove a 250 percent increase in fundraising from grassroots donors.”
The campaign crossed the goal line midday Friday with $1,000,428 in Mueller-related donations.
One way the campaign cashed in on the report was through a video hitting critical Democrats.

The Trump campaign has raked in $30.3 million in the first quarter of 2019, which the Post notes is “nearly equal to the donations of top Democratic rivals Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris, who brought in $18.2 million and $12 million respectively.”
Meanwhile – with key Democrats such as Pelosi, Booker, Hoyer backing off the idea of impeachment, and Trump supporters generally celebrating the Mueller report as a win, the establishment left is now focusing on the 2020 election – while their base has 452-tweet power-tantrums after nearly 30 months of media-fueled assurances that Mueller was going to bring Trump down.
What happened to Rep. Adam Schiff – who spent months insisting Trump colluded with Russia in plain sight, while promising to wait for the Mueller report before pushing for impeachment?

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, meanwhile, has danced around the topic of impeachment – only to boldly commit on Friday to exploring whether it’s appropriate in the first place – supporting Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s poorly received March resolution calling for an investigation into whether Trump committed impeachable offenses.
It’s clear the Trump camp is in celebration mode as it now turns to “investigating the investigators.”
