6 Killed In Shooting At Czech Hospital; Suspect Committed Suicide
At least six people were killed in a shooting Tuesday morning at a hospital in eastern Czech Republic city of Ostrava, according to a collection of local media reports cited by Fox News and Bloomberg.
The attack was the deadliest shooting in the Czech Republic – a country of 10.7 million with relatively restrictive gun laws – since 2015.
Patients were reportedly evacuated from the building after the attack.
An hour or so later, Czech Police confirmed that they had confronted the suspect – who has yet to be identified. After being surrounded by police, the suspect shot himself in the head.

Police released, then deleted, a photo of a man described as a “witness” who was wanted for questioning.
Prime Minister Andrej Babis said during a press conference on Czech TV that the shooting took place in the waiting room, and that the shooter aimed at people’s heads, firing from close range.
