The Oregon State Police SWAT Team normally wears body cameras, but they weren’t wearing them when Robert “Lavoy” Finicum’s truck was stopped in 2016. According to a motion filed by prosecutors, the FBI had told them not to. FBI agent W. Joseph Astarita shot and killed Finicum during the stop. Astarita is charged with three counts of making false statements and two counts of obstruction of justice.
