Several People Stabbed At Oregon Wells Fargo
Local media reported that there was a “stabbing incident” at a shopping center in Beaverton, Oregon. The attack is believed to have taken place at a Wells Fargo branch inside the Murray Hill shopping enter at Southwest Murray Boulevard and Teal Avenue.
Beaverton is situated about a 30 minute drive west of Portland, Oregon, an ultra-liberal city that has seen several knife-related incidents in recent years, including the now-infamous Portland train attack in 2017, where a man fatally stabbed two people and injured another after they confronted him for allegedly shouting racist comments.
Fortunately, police said the suspect has been detained and is “no longer a threat to the public.”
Beaverton police first announced the incident on Twitter, and have been posting updates there.
Beaverton Police are on scene at Wells Fargo Bank in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Beaverton investigating a stabbing. More details to follow.
