superintendent over the use of the words
“under God” in the pledge of allegiance recited by students.
The unidentified family filed the suit with the American Humanist
Association, claiming that including the words “under God” in the
pledge violates New Jersey’s constitution. - The confirmed death toll from
the South Korean ferry that capsized last week with many school
students still aboard has reached 108.
