Democrat Congressman Steve Cohen took a swipe at President Trump Monday on MSNBC, saying Trump is as destructive as the fire ripping through Notre Dame.
“What he has done to the Constitution and the rule of law is as bad as that fire did to Notre Dame. He’s torching the entire structure of government and the people’s respect for it,” said Cohen.

Cohen discussed the upcoming release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report, which is expected to become public this Thursday. Moreover, he said he believes there’s evidence of obstruction and he believes that the report will detail ‘shady’ deals with Russia and President Trump. However, Cohen explained that the information revealed may not be enough to indict the President on conspiracy charges.
Trump hired Barr to bury this investigation. That’s why we’re getting a heavily redacted report the night before the start of Easter & Passover. Trump’s whole life has been a series of shady deals, & he doesn’t want the truth to get out. #ReleaseTheReport #CultureOfCorruption pic.twitter.com/9448yuQGTh

Cohen said that Attorney General William Barr’s timing is suspicious coming just ahead of Easter and the Jewish holiday of Passover.
