The White House has launched a new tool for people to use if they feel they have been unfairly discriminated against over social media.
The Trump Administration is fighting for free speech online.
No matter your views, if you suspect political bias has caused you to be censored or silenced online, we want to hear about it! https://t.co/9lc0cqUhuf pic.twitter.com/J8ICbx42dz

Those who feel they have been wrongly banned, censored or suspended on platforms such as Facebook or Twitter can go to “wh.gov/techbias” where the following mesage will greet them:
“SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS should advance FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Yet too many Americans have seen their accounts suspended, banned, or fraudulently reported for unclear “violations” of user policies.
No matter your views, if you suspect political bias caused such an action to be taken against you, share your story with President Trump.”
The idea was immediately supported by Twitter alternative Gab.com, which tweeted: “Excellent, we will email our ~1m users and get you a very large set of data.”

In April, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) threatened to regulate social media companies after repeated charges from President Trump and other conservatives that Facebook, Twitter and Google have targeted the political speech of conservatives.
“What makes the threat of political censorship so problematic is the lack of transparency, the invisibility, the ability for a handful of giant tech companies to decide if a particular speaker is disfavored,” said Cruz during April remarks.
In March, President Trump accused Facebook, Google and Twitter of bias, saying “I do think we have to get to the bottom of it.” Trump said that the media giants are building a “stacked deck” against him.
Meanwhile, undercover investigative firm Project Veritas recorded Twitter engineers bragging about shadow banning “a way of talking,” as well as targeting conservatives and classifying users who tweet about “guns” and “God” as Russian bots.

Perhaps Zero Hedge should report the time Facebook completely banned our our content, only to reverse course the next day and claim they made a ‘mistake.’
