Controversial Images Emerge Of Steve Mnuchin Posing In Risqué Poolside Picture

When US Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin isn’t calling the Working Group on Financial Markets (“Plunge Protection Team” (PPT)) to pump stocks, he is posing in risqué poolside photos, most likely taken in portrait mode on an iPhone, with his 38-year-old wife, Louise Linton.

Six pictures were posted on Linton’s Instagram over the weekend, with one that shows Mnuchin appearing to caress his young millennial wife in a sunbathing chair.

Instagram and Twitter were quick to react, indicating this is the latest example of the Trump administration living a lavish lifestyle off the taxpayers’ dime.

“The loveliest and most relaxing 4th of July with family and friends. Was a beautiful day to celebrate @shaylondre on her birthday!! ☀️#birthday #july4th #family #bestfriends #husband,” Linton wrote on Instagram Friday.

Other pictures displayed herself, Mnuchin and several female guests at what appears to be a mega-mansion in Los Angeles, California, partying over the weekend with expensive champagne.

Social media critics said these photos show how the Trump administration is entirely out of touch with their base.

“They’re watching the servants throw central american toddlers into the deep end,” remarked one Instagram critic.

“Now that’s a guy who looks like he has to pay for sex. Oh wait, he DOES,” wrote another scathing Twitter reply.

“They really know how to put the white in the red, white and blue,” remarked a Twitter critic.

“Steve looks like the type of dude that enjoys watching his wife getting banged by another dude. #CuckoldLif.” an Instagram critic said.

According to Newsweek, this isn’t Linton’s first foray into questionable social media posts bosting her elitist status. In September 2017, she apologized after sustained backlash for a now-deleted Instagram post promoting her wealth and her offensive reply to a commenter.

“I apologize for my post on social media yesterday as well as my response. It was inappropriate and highly insensitive,” Linton said in a statement from her publicist.

In November 2017, Linton and Mnuchin were ridiculed for holding newly minted cash at the Bureau of Printing and Engraving. Critics said the couple looked like “Bond villains” and Linton looked like Cruella de Vila from The One Hundred and One Dalmatians movie.

Linton let it all out to LA Mag – she recently said her portrayal as a spoiled housewife by the media isn’t fair, although she did compliment the job by saying she got to fly in fancy planes and helicopters.

Living a luxurious lifestyle on the taxpayers’ dime and posting about it on social media shows just how out of touch the Trump administration is as their base struggles to survive with an economy that is headed for recession.
