Brickbat: Well, God Damn

The city council of Saonara, Italy, has voted to make it illegal “to blaspheme against any faith or religion,” including taking the Lord’s name in vain, or to use foul language in public. Those found guilty of violating the law face fines of up to €400 (about $445).
